4×4 Center B.V. attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy. Webshop software

WordPress & WooCommerce

Our webshop operates on WordPress in combination with WooCommerce. Personal data provided by you for the purpose of processing orders or handling contact requests is stored within these systems.

WordPress and WooCommerce do not process personal data for their own independent purposes. However, plugins or functional extensions may process personal data where this is necessary for the proper functioning of the webshop. Such parties are required to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including:

Web hosting

Juist B.V.

We use web hosting and email services provided by Juist B.V. They process personal data solely on our behalf and do not use such data for their own purposes. Juist implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures and is subject to a statutory duty of confidentiality.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp

Our newsletters are distributed via MailChimp. MailChimp processes your name and email address solely for the purpose of sending newsletters. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link allowing you to withdraw your consent at any time.

MailChimp may record whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. This information is used for statistical analysis and to improve our services.

Office365

For regular business email communications we use Microsoft Office365. Microsoft has implemented appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorised access, misuse and loss of data. All email communication is treated confidentially.

Payment processors

Mollie

For processing payments within our webshop we use payment service provider Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address details and payment information. In exceptional circumstances, Mollie may share data with third parties where this is necessary for credit checks or post-payment services. Mollie complies with all applicable statutory retention obligations.

Reviews

Kiyoh

Customer reviews are collected via Kiyoh. When submitting a review, your name, place of residence and email address are processed. This information is shared with us to enable verification and linking of the review to an order. Kiyoh may contact you to request clarification of your review. Personal data is retained by Kiyoh for as long as the review remains publicly visible.

Shipping and logistics

UPS, Dachser & NL Logistics

When you place an order with us, we are responsible for delivering your parcel or shipment. For this purpose, we use the services of UPS, Dachser and NL Logistics.

It is necessary to share your name, address and place of residence with these carriers. They use this data solely for the purpose of delivering your order. Where subcontractors are engaged, personal data may be shared to the extent necessary to perform the delivery.

Invoicing and accounting

Yuki

For administrative and accounting purposes we use Yuki. They receive personal data such as your name, address and order details to process sales invoices. Yuki is subject to a duty of confidentiality and processes data solely for our administrative purposes.

Media platforms

YouTube

Our website may contain references to YouTube videos. When you view such content, YouTube may process personal data in accordance with its own privacy and cookie policies. This processing is the responsibility of YouTube/Google.

Google

We use Google services, such as Google Search, to improve online visibility. Google processes personal data in accordance with its own terms and conditions. We do not use this data for targeted advertising purposes.

Purposes of processing personal data

We process personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

• customer service and communication
• administrative and legal obligations
