Gobi-X Wheel Carrier

All Gobi-X products are designed and manufactured by Gobi-X in-house in South Africa. The components are produced with CNC laser- and bendingmachines for superior accuracy and consistency. Only top-quality certified steel is used for the production. All Gobi-X products undergo a 6-stage pre-treatment process, the final stage includes a metal phosphate coating for rust prevention. Finally, a powder coating ensures a finish of superior quality and extended lifespan.

The wheel carrier from Gobi-X can be mounted on the Gobi-X rear bumper. The wheel carrier pivots within the bumper, allowing the original rear door or tailgate to open. To prevent rattling and unintentional opening, the carrier is equipped with a double lock. The support on which the spare wheel is mounted is adjustable, making it possible to rest the tire against the holder, regardless of the tire/rim width or the wheel offset.

The wheel carriers are available in left and right variants. This allows you to mount the spare wheel in the ideal position for you, or even carry two spare wheels if you install a wheel carrier on both sides.
