Gobi-X Wheel Carrier Mercedes Sprinter

All Gobi-X products are designed and manufactured by Gobi-X in-house in South Africa. The components are produced with CNC laser- and bendingmachines for superior accuracy and consistency. Only top-quality certified steel is used for the production. All Gobi-X products undergo a 6-stage pre-treatment process, the final stage includes a metal phosphate coating for rust prevention. Finally, a powder coating ensures a finish of superior quality and extended lifespan.

The wheel carrier is designed to be used as an accessory on the Gobi-X rear bumper for the Mercedes Sprinter. The thick pin at the bottom of the wheel carrier is attached to the special integrated bushing in the rear bumper and serves as a hinge point. The gas strut ensures that the wheel carrier opens automatically when the double lock is released and also acts as a hinge limiter to prevent it from swinging too far open. The spare wheel holder is suitable for standard wheel sizes for the Sprinter and Sprinter 4×4, but can accommodate wider tire sizes due to the adjustable bracket.

The wheel carrier is available in both left and right variants.
