National Luna NLDC-25 Dual Battery Isolator And Charger

The NLDC-25 Dual Battery Isolator And Charger is a DC-to-DC battery charger and isolator designed for dual-battery setups. It can supply an auxiliary or service battery with charging current from a vehicle’s alternator or a solar panel, delivering up to 25A. It is compatible with both conventional 12V and 24V alternators, as well as variable voltage alternators. An integrated MPPT solar controller enables maximum solar output of 375 watts, although panels with higher ratings can also be connected. Solar input voltages of up to 42 volts are supported. The NLDC-25 employs a six-stage charging process suitable for all types of Lead-Acid batteries and automotive-grade Lithium-Ion batteries. Three protective stages assess battery condition and can identify batteries that are faulty or incapable of being charged. A temperature compensation feature adjusts the output voltage to ensure optimal and safe charging across different environmental conditions. An optionally available remote monitor (NL-BMS-30101, also available in our webshop) can be linked to the NLDC-25, providing the user with system and battery status information via a high-contrast LCD display. The device carries an IP67 rating for rugged environments and includes protections against reverse polarity, over-voltage, excessive temperature, and over-current events.
