The Quick Pitch Roof Top Tent is a hard-shell tent that fits onto any vehicle or SUV. The tent is manufactured from the best quality extruded aluminium and no bolts or pop-rivets are used in the structure which means no potential leaks. By welding the aluminium parts together the life of the tent is prolonged. Because the use of extrusions, it is not neccessary to use hinges as the extrusions are designed in a matter where the two extrusions fit snuggly into each other and swivel within one another, which means that the weight of the top is distributed evenly across the width of the tent.
The tent itself is manufactured with the best quality canvas with thin aluminium treads in them. This will prevent the canvas from tearing when a branch hits it. The Quick Pitch Roof Top Tent also has an awning on all sides of the tent to prevent rain and dew from dripping on the tent and it gives more shade to keep the tent cooler inside.
The tent takes seconds to pitch and folding it in doesn’t take much longer. Due to the strong gas struts up to 40kg can be loaded on the tent roof. This way the tent doesn’t have to mean the end of your roof carrying capacity. Two rails on top of the tent give you the ability to store lugage or place solarpanels on top of your vehicle.
The bedding can be kept in the tent as it has enough space even when in traveling mode to accommodate your bedding and the included mattress of course. The tent features a 12v outlet and includes 2x USB ports with an interior light which can shine in white and red. The red ligth ccomes in handy when traveling trough areas with lots of musquitos since red light does not attracht them. Even though the tent comes with musquito-nets on all entrances it is better to not attract them.
Inside the tent you will find convenience / storage bags situated in the tent ceiling. These can be used to store clothing, your ipad and some books.
Sleeping won’t be a problem either, as the 80mm thick mattress is made of high-density cold foam. Optionally, you can place a 15mm insulating anti-condensation mattress underneath, which can also be ordered from our webshop. Sunshades are also integrated into the roof, allowing you to sleep comfortably at all times.
